How to add vocals to a beat or instrumental with AI

Producers often have beats without a topline. AI vocals let you hear a full song on your instrumental before you pitch it or book a session. You bring the beat and the lyrics; the model writes the melody and sings.
Prepare the instrumental
Use a track without existing vocals. If your source has a guide vocal, split it first with the Vocal Remover and use the instrumental. A clear intro, verse, and chorus in the music gives the vocal more obvious places to land.
Write lyrics that fit the length
A two-minute beat does not need four verses. Count the sections in the music and write lyrics for those sections, labelled with [Verse], [Chorus], and [Bridge]. Leave instrumental sections out rather than adding filler words.
Describe the voice and delivery
In the Vocal style field, describe tone and delivery together: "smooth male R&B vocal, relaxed verses, soaring chorus with harmonies". Choose a female or male voice if you have a preference.
Use exclude styles to steer it
The Exclude styles field is required for Add Vocals and is the quickest way to remove what you keep hearing: "autotune, shouting, rap verses". Keep it short and specific.
Compare, then finish
Listen to each take, keep the best one, and continue from there: extend it with a new section, or split the vocal and beat into stems to mix in your DAW.
